Practical complaint help

If the company ignored signs of gambling harm

Keep a note of what you told the company, when you told it and what happened afterwards. You can ask it to investigate without deciding for yourself whether the law was broken.

What to do first

Follow the steps below. Keep your records privately; do not send them to this site.

Build a short, factual timeline

Keep requests to stop, disclosures you made, the responses and any later relevant contact. Record missing or conflicting information too.

You do not need to give this site a diagnosis or medical history. Keep sensitive records somewhere safe and seek advice before sharing them.

A complaint is not a promise of a refund

Losing money does not, by itself, establish an entitlement to reimbursement. This website cannot determine whether an operator breached a duty or what remedy is available.

IBAS, an independent gambling dispute service, generally excludes gambling-harm complaints unless they also involve a dispute about an agreement with the company. A payment dispute may need a separate route. Check whether the service can consider it.

Get support alongside the complaint

A complaint may take time. You do not have to wait for an answer to speak to someone about gambling, debt or how you are feeling. The Help now page has independent services.

For GB regulatory concerns, information can be provided to the Gambling Commission, but it does not make individual compensation awards.
