Finding independent legal advice

You can use the official registers below to check a solicitor. A listing is not a recommendation or proof of experience with gambling disputes.

What to do first

Follow the steps below. Keep your records privately; do not send them to this site.

Check the right register

Use the regulator or law society for the relevant jurisdiction. Ask whether the firm has suitable experience, can act in your location, and will assess the documents before taking a case.

Ask about costs before sharing a full file

Ask what an initial assessment costs, what work is included, whether any fee is contingent, and what you would owe if the case does not proceed. Do not assume a free introduction means free legal work.

Check any urgent time limits directly with an appropriately qualified adviser. This website does not calculate them.

No referral takes place here

We have no solicitor partnerships or fee-sharing arrangements. We do not send your notes or collect a referral fee. The links take you to independent services.
